Missing your Outlook 2016 folders?
HELP! My Outlook folders have been deleted
The last couple of weeks we have been receiving a lot of panicked phone calls from customers about their folders being deleted.
Well, fear not, in all the cases we have seen over the last couple of weeks the Outlook folders have not been deleted but a setting has been changed which means that the Folder view pane in Outlook isn’t showing as it normally does. We think that this might be connected to a Windows update but we cannot be sure at this time.
So how can you get your folders back?
Simple.
Go to your Outlook
Click the ‘View’ tab at the top of the page next to ‘Folder’
Click ‘Folder Pane’ on the far left
Select ‘Normal’
This should re-enable your folder pane.
